Hypnosis San Francisco Bay Area:
Hypnosis is one of the oldest, and most effective forms of psychological healing. It has been described as "guided daydreaming", and can be thought of as similar to guided relaxation, visualization and meditation. Put simply, it is a guided procedure that takes place between a client and a therapist that increases your ability to respond to suggestions.
What is it hypnosis like?
You will most likely feel like you are in a relaxed or absorbed state of mind. Usually, you'll have full awareness of the session. You will always be safe and in control at all times. During hypnosis, people often have an increased ability to step out of their usual conscious "frames of mind".
Why use hypnosis?
Research has taught us that the addition of hypnosis substantially enhances the efficacy of treatment. Many clients report that changes in attitude, behavior, and emotional states occur faster, and last longer.
Hypnosis aids the therapeutic process by helping you make changes more easily.
What can hypnosis help with?
A well trained therapist can use hypnosis to assist you in achieving a wide range of results. It can be a very effective treatment for:
- Improving relationship skills
- Managing emotions
- Improving self understanding
- Increasing self confidence
- Reducing intensity, frequency of anxiety & depression.
- Resolving trauma
- Changing habits
- Making positive life changes
- Smoking
- Weight Loss
- Addiction and Substance Abuse
